Lusega Tales exists because showing up for someone in person is different from helping from a distance. We walk alongside children, mothers and families in Nairobi, one table at a time.

Our story

It began with someone who knows what it feels like.

I know what it feels like to be hungry with no one to call. That is exactly why I will never stop showing up for someone else.

Titus founded Lusega Tales as an outreach movement in Nairobi, serving informal settlements and underserved neighbourhoods. Alongside it he built Tales by Titus254, where he sits down with people who have lived through addiction, prison, loss and poverty and lets them tell it honestly. The conversations created a community, and the community turned into action.

What we believe

Four promises we keep.

We show up in person

We do not hand out help from a distance. We sit at the table, walk beside people, and come back.

Dignity comes first

Nobody is a case study. Stories are told only with consent, and people speak for themselves, in their own words.

We look at the whole person

Hunger is rarely the only problem, so our eight programs cover meals, mothers, learning, mentors, health and crisis.

We stay honest

We show the work, ask people to hold us to it, and answer every question, any time.

How we work

Listen. Serve. Show.

  1. ListenThrough Tales by Titus254, people share what they have lived through, and we learn what a community really needs.
  2. ServeThe Tales Family team and volunteers turn that listening into meals, care kits, mentorship, medical camps and relief.
  3. ShowWe share photos and video from the field, so everyone who gave can see where it went.

Behind every number is a person who stayed to listen.

The Tales by Titus254 channel has passed 100,000 subscribers and earned YouTube's Silver Play Button. For Titus, the number that matters most is smaller: the people who message to say a story helped them keep going.
